Doug Fleegle Joins Lifespace Communities as Beacon Hill Executive Director

Douglas “Doug” Fleegle rejoined Lifespace Communities on July 17 as executive director at Beacon Hill, having previously served as executive director at Lifespace’s Village on the Green from 2016 to 2019.

Fleegle has extensive executive-level leadership experience in senior living, health care and human services. Most recently, he served as the executive director of Las Ventanas, a HumanGood Life Plan Community. He has also held leadership roles at Westminster Communities of Florida, Asbury Communities, and United Church Homes and Services, among others.

Throughout his career, Fleegle has been a servant leader. He is driven by the bonds he forms with fellow team members and residents, always striving to create an environment where everyone feels respected and recognized for their unique talents.

“Building community is most important to me. As a leader, I enjoy connecting with residents and team members and supporting them in their endeavors. I’ve also learned from the lived experiences and knowledge that residents have shared with me, as well as from the impressive people I’ve worked with over the years,” Fleegle said.

Andy Kazmierczak, regional vice president, operations, said Fleegle has a proven track record of being an exceptional leader. “In addition to his years of effective operations management, his ability to engage team members creates an environment that encourages residents and team members to thrive,” Kazmierczak said.

Fleegle is currently pursuing his Executive Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Innovation at Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health.
