World War II Veteran Receives Special Tribute on Veterans Day at Wesley Court

Roy “Hoss” Allen, a resident at Wesley Court, a Lifespace senior living community in Abilene, Texas, who recently celebrated his 100^th birthday, was the honoree at Wesley Court’s Veterans Day celebration. Roy served in World War II and also survived being taken as a prisoner of war. In addition to paying special honor to Roy for his service, the attendees celebrated multiple veterans – residents and team members alike – for their service, and local KRBC news anchor, David Bacon, performed Master of Ceremonies duty during the event.
